James D. Fawcett

Natural accent is British. A young, rich, vibrant and regionally neutral voice particularly valuable for a range of voice acting parts and character delivery pieces, can also be used for a variety of accents e.g. American (General, Southern and New York), UK Dialects: Liverpudlian (Scouse) and London (Cockney & RP).

Interested in acting since the age of 11 years old, James attended local theatre companies and appeared in many of their end of year shows. He has been an extra in two Harry Potter films (Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, 2007 and Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, 2011) and was cast as ‘Rocky’ in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, at The Warehouse Theatre, Greenville, South Carolina, US and ‘Puck’ in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Garden Players, Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK, and ‘Jimmy Porter’ in John Osborne’s play ‘Look Back in Anger’ (1956) in London at the Big Boots Theatre Company in London.

James is a professionally trained actor completing his extended Diploma in Performing Arts (2011-2014) at The Henley College, Oxfordshire and his American Theatre Arts degree at Rose Bruford Drama School, Sidcup, Kent.

In between his acting and script writing, James works at BusinessVocals providing the voice for promo films at GivingBack Films a social enterprise video production company.
